Mud!

I've come to terms that there is no escape this year so I'm embracing my inner mud monster.

It's actually kind of growing on me and becoming fun!

Last year I left a shoe in a boggy bit of path and managed to fall over pulling it out... and I was still 5k from home.

My shoes are quite tight so not lost one yet, I do get very wet feet though

The heath where I run is increasingly a total swamp at the moment, had to change my routes a couple of times a few weeks ago after almost losing a trainer in suction mud incidents 😲 I have now got used to the mud, but it has now escalated to proper at least a foot deep watery bog-ponds in places so have had to avoid big chunks of the heath and run on the road (mega boooo)! 😄 At least park run today had normal levels of mud! 🤣
