Over the last month I have changed from running 25 km a week in say 5, 8, 7 and 5 km runs to rather running daily. Running daily I push myself enough to be still able to run very slowing if need be the next day. Running daily takes the ... Should I run today and when should I run out of the equation! I am feeling on top of the moon. When I feel particularly good during the run I push harder and go all out. I am certainly not as tired as I used to be.

I think having a change helps! I sometimes do a faster, shorter run, uphill, when I "walk" the dog, and really enjoy the challenge! Being so short means that if I feel like it later in the day I can do my proper run, and if I don't fancy it, I don't feel that I have been completely idle!

I totally resonate with what you are saying. These are the reasons I decided to start running daily, and I am nearly up to 3 years of running every day. I love it. I structured the week with 2 or 3 one mile runs and the rest as I saw fit. I have changed my routine in December now that i am stronger. Best is to do what feels right. I have a 'reset' week every 4 weeks or so where I do relatively little, in order to give my body some recovery. Good luck and well done
