Looked outside this morning it was about 1 degree and the pavements were very icy so I thought I'd need to abandon today's run . I was like a curtain twitcher, I kept checking for any change in conditions. Finally about 10.45 the rain came on and the paths were much better.
Went out to run my 3rd 10k all went well but I'm 0.07k short but that's ok, who's counting π€£.
Happy running people hope your weather is ok for running ππ
A message for Grannyhugs I wore my running gloves today as the wind chill was -2 and the gloves where great. I know you've tried everything but here goes
I'll be getting the gloves too. I'm just back in from my 10k and my hands were freezing. In fact, pretty much all my winter running gear has come from your recommendations! Thank you πππββοΈ
Great run Buddy34 so glad you got out for another long run. Woke to -3 but decided I was heading out at 11. Pair of double lined insulate gloves, weird as still in knee length leggings. Toast hands ever took gloves off for 1k of my 7 Β½. Sun shining, crisp and white. By 1 it was snowing, now sleety rain so good call on my 11am run.
you clearly wanted to go out so I'm pleased the conditions changed. I was looking forward to a run tomorrow and then remembered that I am going to my mum's gym class tomorrow morning and that last time it nearly killed me, so hard.
I've only done it once. I think I had a nap after... my mum feels energised after. It's a good class but sometimes a bit high intensity. It will be good for me but the thought of getting up for it is not necessarily attractive..
probably more than me. Parents dont have a car so she cycles everywhere and walks. I nearly convinced her to do c25k but i think she is doing enough tbh
Well done - you have it nailed - 0.07 who cares and 10k itself - when you think about it ...why? Good job we have the metric system otherwise the step ups would be so much harder 5m => 10m ouch
