I know, I know, I should stick to the plan but I was in the zone loving the run and my watch is in miles so it felt weird stopping. So pleased to hit the 5 mile mark!!!

Congratulations on your c25k graduation 4 weeks ago Runningmummy. 5 miles in 54 minutes is something to be pleased with. Be careful not to increase your distance by more than 10% every week though. If you are doing juju’s magic plan, it is designed to take you safely through the journey.

It looks like you are on my stamping ground and there are a few of us that do Southsea parkrun each Saturday. So if you are ever there, do post to let us know and we can say hello.

I know, it’s just too tempting when you are already out having a good run! I am but I’m moving next week up the hill. I will miss the nice flat seafront run but I’m sure my fitness will improve running up portsdown hill! I’ll have to come down for park runs now and again, I’ll post on here when I do

Yes do. We also go to lakeside occasionally. Good luck with the move.

Welcome to Portsdown Hill RM - my stomping ground (when I'm not on the IC that is!). It has definitely helped my pace. Portsmouth Lakeside is my local parkrun but only able to volunteer at present.

Would be great to meet up - if you PM me with a possible date I could let Dexy5 know and other running buddies from Southsea might be able to join us👍
