❄coldest run so far

Yay - 1st weekday morning run since showergate...glad to say i fixed it and normal service is resumed 🤗

A chilly -1...discovered when i checked my stats! There was a thick frost out but it was an enjoyable run. I was pretty speedy (must have been the cold) I changed my route mid run because the weather forecast lied about the sunrise! It said sunrise was 07.25 - well people i don't know what counts as sunrise to them but it was bright and the sun was definitely rising at 6.50am! Anyway - this was a bonus as it meant i could do my new and much loved hybrid route and not paved streets all the way #winning

My hands were freezing at the beginning - soon warmed up but they look like they have aged 50 years when i get in 😱 time to get some gloves!

Yes, gloves time. I keep forgetting mine I pull my jacket or tee sleeves down 🙂

I think running in colder weather does make us quicker. The nip in the air wanting us to get back indoors as quick as poss 🙂

Well done Alisonx!! 😁 It’s nice to see it light earlier than the weather forecast says sunrise is. I’ve been quite glad of that too. Definitely time for gloves. I bought a nice pair in that scuba type material in Aldi (I’m so technical, 😂). I have to say my finger tips were still a bit cold yesterday though. 🤷🏽‍♀️❤️

Glad you got the shower fixed and then out for a cold run. Mid day here and still in minus figures with snow capped mountains out the window. You take care of these precious fingers. Happy running
