Half marathon completed, tough on the legs as climbed up hills round the Great Orme, hard work. My heartfelt thanks to C25k as my beginning, who’d have thought it, me doing metric and half marathons

Wow, well done Agelesslass , that is something to be extremely proud of!!! I am so scared of taking on a HM, I really don't think I've got it in me but it's posts like yours that make me think 'maybe, one day!!' thank you x

and I love the bling!!

Thank you. Hey, if I can do it you can too. Add to your mileage in training then put one foot in front of the other and go. You will do it. I must admit it helps because I belong to a great running club and have great running buddies

Just fabulous! Your profile says that you are 65 going on 25, perhaps you feel 65 going on 18 now! Just amazing! 🎉😊🏃‍♀️🌸

Aw thank you, I’m 66 but feel about 35, age won’t stop me doing anything, life is for going out there and grabbing it by both hands 😀😀

I’m thinking about training for a marathon in May, 2021. My half marathon was cancelled but I’ve done an unofficial 22k. Any thoughts, tips or advice? I too am 66!

Wow, congratulations!

I can see the fantastic weather in the background! So be proud of battling with the rain, too.

I did my first 10 k race today. :-)

Congratulations! Looking pretty grey and wet there at Conway. Sounds a tough route! I head back there to run along the prom occasionally but it's never occurred tome to run up the Orme 😍

It was tough up there, hill after hill, but good thing was the down hill afterwards. Got soaked in the last couple of miles but worth it for the bling and the euphoria afterwards 😀😀

Wowee, super well done AL! 🎉🏃‍♀️

Beautiful place to run, but yes I can imagine the Great Orme would be very hard on the legs and the lungs 😳

I've only seen it from the bottom but I bet the view's great from the top 😀
