Well that was brilliant ๐Ÿ˜

It started pelting it down around 4pm and I was hoping it'd ease off a bit by the time I finished work at 5!

Not a chance, so I decided to get out there as soon as poss., the sooner to get home, bathed and in my pj's ๐Ÿ˜Š

It was a slow run with being dark, the floor covered in leaves and pouring but once I stopped trying to avoid the puddles and let the water just drip down my face I loved it...it was just so fun that I embraced it and had a big smile on my face most of the way around.

Especially after running through a particularly big puddle, and running up a hill I'd only ever run down before because I used to think I wouldn't make it! ๐Ÿคจ

The after run bath and cappuccino were also all the better for being all snug again.

Awesome run ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

Sounds like youโ€™ve found your inner child. Look around a park on a wet day and kids love jumping in puddles, I wonder at what age we forget about the simple joys of life?

Ha, you know...I think you may be right, let's hope she comes back again soon ๐Ÿ˜€

I think life gets busy for a good while and we forget to stop and smell the roses and be joyous...I also think maybe on this forum and others like it we're learning to live in the moment again ๐Ÿ˜Š

How wonderful! I love running in heavy rain - your run sounds just my cup of tea, or should I say cappuccino? โ˜•๏ธ

Glad you enjoyed it, and I bet youโ€™re glad you made the effort to go out. Well done Run46! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ฆ

There was no doubt about me going...it's only injury, illness or ice I let stop me, or my brain would never let me live it down ๐Ÿ˜†

It's a good job we like the rain coz I have a feeling we'll be getting lots more of it ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒง๐ŸŒฆ

Only a triple chocolate brownie and flat white short of perfection in my book Run46. Who cares about getting wet?๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Well done! Taking on the rain like that ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿฝ I always find i don't care if it starts whilst i am out, but getting out when it is already chucking it down takes some serious grit

Rewarded with a nice bath at the end sounds perfect!

It was a much appreciated bath ๐Ÿ›๐Ÿ˜Š

If I'd sat down I might have struggled so it was in the door after work, changed and out...didn't give me time to think better of it ๐Ÿ˜†

Running in the rain is great! Hard to get motivated to go out in it but once out itโ€™s soggy but fun! Just watch for slippy leaves!

I know, was great fun but did take it slow coz slippy leaves make me nervous ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
