First 10k and darker day motivation

So after completing C25K earlier in the year I did my first 10k yesterday. Bit aching but pleased as I couldn’t run a minute in April. The darker days are putting a bit of a dampener on things for me at the minute so looking down some new routes on paths and lit places, I did get some nice photos the other morning at sunrise trying to take in some benefit but I am missing the summer. Any advice for my first winter as a runner x

Looks beautiful. Well done on 1st 10k. I was aching this morning just done Adrienne yoga for runners, tough but feel looser. Good luck with your new routes.
