Hardly any running this week and it’s been driving me crazy. My car was booked in for a service today and rather than book a courtesy car, I thought I’d get a bit of exercise in. Biggest thing to come out of this, apart from happier legs, was that I can now visualise just how long my HM will be! Kept all miles between 18 and 20 minutes, apart from one which came in at 20:05... take that Active 10!

Well, I walked, but no... not many on foot. They did fuel me with a free cappuccino and then help me recover with a lovely hot chocolate afterwards... not sure the free drinks merit the price I paid for the car, but today I was happy 🤣
Just got a little 2k jog in too... so that’s just over 14 miles on foot... I wanted to run tired to simulate the end of my event a little, it felt so good!
When I bought my first car off these guys I was there for ages while the sorted everything I wanted on it, would have almost been as expensive if I’d been in Costa that long 🤣. When I got the second one they said to call in for a coffee any time, so i go and have one every time I’m actually passing them and have a spare 20 minutes!
I turned up in running gear for a service during C25K but the run home was too short. I got lost trying to extend the run and discovered a lot of places I hadn't been before (or since).
🤣. Did you map that run? Could be good to have it for next time! I thought about walking home, but it was about the distance of the circular walk anyway!
The only time I’ve been lost while running was my first time going for a warmup jog before parkrun, got totally confused as to which way I went at each turn and only made it back to the start due to seeing a marshal in the distance... couple of minutes to spare when I go to the start.
I planned my 1st 10K along Middlewood Way but ended up along the canal as I forgot which way to go. Nice run though. I have no sense of direction. 1st ever parkrun I took a wrong turn.
