It was a 1k Tempo run today (the whole distance at your fastest pace). Iβm using the app to train myself to get out there and run regularly again. So itβs up..... out....and go! 1...2...3... π! Somehow the App didnβt chime in the halfway point π―, so as I felt good, I carried on home with a slow jog, so a respectable 2k in the end.
The only problem (there was bound to be one π₯΄) was I left my key to get back in too! π€ͺ! So that makes the faff much less constructive...π€¨ it was just a faff π€£. Iβve made the call to be rescued and have done my stretches outside my door, so itβs not all bad! π€ͺ If circumstances would put me off, Iβm not sure that Iβd ever run! π, but sometimes it just shows you how caught up you can be in life and thatβs exactly why you really need to take the time to do something just for you! ππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈ

Thanks JoJo! I entertained myself watching the rugby game. I was so excited, I didnβt realise I was out there for an hour. My hands would say different mind! π₯Ά! πβ€οΈ
Hi Sandie!! Thanks so much. Iβm not at the stage where I feel I can switch it up yet. I figure if I face whatever weather comes, then Iβll have less debates in the future. πβ€οΈ
Well done getting out there... even if you couldnβt then get in again π€£
Tempo with a nice cooldown jog huh? Thatβs a good way to do them... and you got to entertain the neighbours with your stretches... mighty fine way to start the weekend.
My mantra is that if Fab can get out, so can I! Frosty up here in Scotland but a very nice pootle until I looked up to admire the view. Put it like this - my hand will take an extra day to heal. π
