Run No. 1

Well I’ve officially started the Bridge to 10K with a nice SLOW 5.5K this morning out with the stars on a lovely crisp cold morning. It wasn’t too bad, although I was glad when it was done 😂

I plan to take this easy and not put any pressure on myself with the 10K. If I get there, great. If not, then I’ll still be out there running. I’ve never really found exercise easy so still can’t quite believe that running seems to have stuck.

For those out running today - enjoy!

Well done and impressive starlight running. Still sitting in bed with a pot of tea but I'll be out as soon as its finished. Great work. We are going to be such a team👍

Enjoy your run GT after you finish your pot of tea, however, let the tea settle in you, give it 30 minutes then go your run 🏃🏾. 😊

Thank you, dont know why but running with a pot of tea in the belly works for me - innercwarmth for the frozen north. Take care

Well done!! I feel exactly the same I want to enjoy it and carry on. I do really want to get to 10k but it's the keeping going that counts. Well done again.

Thank you. We can all keep ourselves going on here - no matter how long it takes!

Great job... I’m always pleased when my long run is over too 😂

Nice attitude, getting any pressure off yourself will really help you to relax into the runs.

Well done, that is the right approach with this plan. Switch the distances round to suit you, take as many rest days as you want as the running week is as long as you want it to be, slow down for the long one and most of all enjoy it.

Thank you - that’s the plan! 😀
