It is a beautiful day I wasn't running but been out for a long walk with the dog.

Congratulations... I remember my first 8k/5 miler with a smile. Each km gets easier to add on going forwards. Great job.

Thanks. I am already noticing that it’s a smaller proportion of the total, so doesn’t feel so much of a jump. I was adding a half each week, but this one was no bother. 😊 (Hope that’s not “famous last words”!)
