Spectacular 10k 😜

Thoroughly enjoyed my Olympic park run - it was a touch windy in places and some sections felt tough but another 10k in the bag, and times reasonably consistent so happy with that. Captured a few pics on the way round so you can see how fab it is. The gobo lights, orbit and stadium transform the place in the dark couldn't get one of those as the sun had not set by time i finished

If you are ever in London and have not been yet - add it to your tour list. I covered South Park which has Stadium, Aquatics and Orbit through to the North which is the green zone with river lea and canal and home to the Velodrome.

Next run is my local park, i fear it will be a muddy one but looking forward to see the effects of autumn

traffic and London - big No! 🤣 not to mention parking! who would want to lol Thank goodness we have a great public transport system around here! This is on the doorstep of where i work so i have mum babysit and i get to run it every Thursday evening

It’s almost like that place was built with athletics in mind 🤣. Great running in a wonderful setting... I never realised how green it was.
