Yeahhhh we (hubby and I), completed this last night, our first ever 5K 😊 Our time was 36.13 , which although not gazelle like, was a pleasing accomplishment as only started running (again) in May and both in our mid-fifties ... absolutely chuffed πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Well done. You can now look at increasing speed (over a period) and distance (slower runs) in different runs each week ! Excellent work 😊

Am getting back into very gently, as did my Archilles which stopped me running for quite a while .... we're getting there πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

Well done to you both!πŸ‘πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»I think a sundown race is a great idea - I always run better later in the day but nearly all races are on the morning!

We normally run early morning , so weren't sure how it would pan out, but it was fabulous 😊

Thank you all I am Tweedys other half we are both so pleased to have done this as we started with the couch to 5k and graduated back in July. Since then we have been working at getting up to 10K after lots of consolation runs to increase our stamina, then with JuJu but with work etc it’s been slow going and we are only up 7K at present.

Also Tweedy started coming down with a cold before the race started making me even more proud of her achievement.

Once again thank you all for all your kind and encouraging commentsπŸƒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜Š
