Hi everyone,
My collage for this week shows my treat - which was half a portion of Chocolate Biscuit Cake (which I bought from a local café) and it was DELICIOUS - I had it with a blob of vanilla ice-cream. Yum!
I must admit that I nearly panicked earlier in the week and felt as if I 'couldn't do it' - in that I'd not manage to keep up with the running programme, but I sought support from the Tortoise & Hare Club (which I am a member of in NHS weigh loss forum) and was encouraged to continue, and I am so glad I did!!!
I've managed the 3 runs - I am doing 'time' rather than distance, and my timed runs were two 38 minute runs, and one 55 minute run! The terrain is hilly - so there's lots of ups and downs of hills and cliff-path steps, so it's perfect for the 'hilly' aspects of Week 3.
I also managed the planks better, although they are still the toughest of the exercises (in my opinion), and I actually enjoyed the bridges, they felt nice to do.
I'm looking forward to Week 4.
