Dog on, Dog off

Went out with a Canicross friend who is just coming back off the injury couch, so we did a real

mixed bag of Canicross running, running while the dogs ran free, and walking.

It was lovely to have her back running with me, I’ve missed out chatty runs over the summer.

I didn’t take my phone, just my watch, so no doggy pictures, sorry.

The dogs, by the way, had a splashing time in and out of the river when they were free running 😁

Unfortunately not but she has an appointment with the orthopaedic surgeon to try and get answers. We have a trail race today that she also signed up for in a shorter distance with hope but she's going to just hike it. Training in the hills alone this summer just wasn't the same without her 😢.

It was a tough one today but we both finished and enjoyed our after race meal and drink. It was a great day albeit tough.
