Back to the mountains again......lovely :)

Planned hike up Snowdon (via Watkins path) had to be cancelled due to the unfavourable weather forecast. Very heavy rain Saturday morning and high winds :( however all was not lost because the weather improved and we had a pleasant low level stroll along a river and a lakeside picnic. I had packed my running gear (of course!) so this morning I had an early morning 7k with the doggie before the long drive home. We trotted on a footpath around a lake, near where we were staying, and down into the valley - magnificent views. Wonderful to be running among the mountains again....memories of very windy, wet runs on Skye!

Happy Running everyone! (and for those on IC, I feel for you)

Glad you managed to enjoy a good walk anyway.

Did Mr Squiggs enjoy your run?

He did! He tends to pull like mad when we are in a different place and of course there were lots of sheep. Wind+sheep = mad doggie! ;)

How wonderful!

Just read about Snowdon and the other peaks at the weekend.

I watched 'Edie' last week, and I would like to go to the Scottish Highlands so much. Tickets are quite expensive, and it would be a costly journey not affordable.

Have you watched that film?

No, I don't know that film......Is is good?

Depends what you are after. I loved it. Not a Hollywood style film.

If you like films not-American and nice landscapes, you should give it a go. Isle is Skye is in it, too.
