Health dilemma

Have recently been told I have osteoporosis in my spine and am waiting to see a consultant.Thing is, I don’t want to stop running, but I don’t want to make my condition worse. Anyone else had this problem?

I don’t know how long - just had a letter saying there aren’t any appointments at the moment. Thanks for the link though, I’ll take a look.

Yikes. There's a helpline with a specialist osteoporosis nurse there, might be a good stopgap move.

Well I just rang the helpline and the nurse said that running is excellent for bone strength so I’m delighted to say I will carry on running! Thank you for your great advice and support.
