According to the weather app there’s a short break in the rain this morning, so a good time for a fair weather runner to run. What would I do without you lovely lot? I’d completely forgotten about C25K+ til you mentioned it, so I had a date with Laura and the Steppingstones podcast. Just a quick half hour 💭, maybe a 5k?
49 mins and 7km later my pace has picked back up to where it was (I recently got a lot slower after being a bit ill). Got back 💧 with sweat. Warm shower, quick stretch and breakfast.
I feel great! I’ll be trying the other 2 podcasts soon too. Happy 😃 running all you runny people. I’m off to work.

I think I need to try the podcasts again. I tried after graduation and just couldn't do it or keep the pace and beat, just got frustrated! so well done u
It had stopped raining by the time we went out yesterday. I planned to do 5k but was feeling good so extended it. Because of that extra km I got drenched. But it was a lovely run, even in such a downpour.
I didn't bother with a shower straight away because I had to go out again to the hairdresser. I just towelled my hair and put on a dry top, plus cagoule. Of course the sun was out again by then!
I was stopped in the village this morning by someone who had seen me walking (squelching, more like) across the park as I did my 0.5km cool down. She said she could tell that I didn't seem bothered by the rain. She was quite right.
In the last week of my C25K I posted about running a across the golf course in the pouring rain past all those soggy golfers - they must be mad, I said. Then "I suppose they looked at me and thought the same thing"
Hope all is well with you Baddie- we're thinking of you with this rain. I have always hated rain (frizzy haired sun worshipper) but I love running in the rain.
