Birthday jogette among the vines

Well, I am back ‘chez nous’ for the next month and, after 14.5 hours in the car on Monday and shopping, grass mowing and weeding yesterday, I was ready to stretch my legs. So to celebrate my birthday, I got up early, had a cup of tea and, with the weather app saying it was 11C, trotted off to Monbazillac at my happy pace. 6.23k, 43 minutes and 78m of elevation later (compared with my usual 15m 😳) and breakfast of Buck’s Fizz and fresh croissants from the boulangerie in the sunshine on the terrace. Now looking forward to lunch with friends at the Bistrot at the top of my killer hill behind the house! Have a great day everyone 😃

I’m near Nantes, sandie. It was quite cool yesterday but did I run ? No. 🙄 It’s hotter today and I must do a long run. I’m planning to run in the grounds of a chateau so I’m hoping for some trees.
