Good morning VRB's - hope you are all enjoying the sun
I set of for a nice early morning run, it was glorious and the run was going so well and then i get the twinge in my calf again (exactly the same as 2 weeks ago) no apparent reason - gave it a good stretch and continued the run as it felt fine, did all the usual stretching at the end, it of a roll too and a blast with an ice cold shower but its now that it aches.
Really hope this is the cramp again and that i have not done proper damage...i really don't want to be on the IC 😢

Oh no! Sorry to hear this. Rest it up for a while, I say. Doesn't sound like a strain or a pull (I am sure you wouldn't have managed to continue to run pain free if it was). When it is feeling better, maybe look into some calf strengthening exercises? I pulled a muscle in my calf shortly after graduation – once it healed I started calf strengthening, and had no problems since! Strong as anything now.
