Good morning to my lovely running family...I must say I am soooo enjoying my role as ambassador so much..I love reading all about your running, who's doing what and where...it's making me check in here daily...I forgot how much I actually need to be on here!!
Thank you to everyone who commented on my interval post yesterday, you all have so much helpful advice and encouragement to give, honestly, this forum should be on prescription never mind running!!!!!
So this morning I did yet another interval run..cadence drill and glider thingy...all thought through by Jeff..and I really enjoyed it...I decided to run the warm up and part of the cool down therefore resulting in a greater distance achieved....only 3k but still a little further than the last couple of runs..my heart rate was better and my pace was quicker too so I feel like its already starting to make a difference. My next run is scheduled for Monday and it's a 4k so I can see from this that the runs get longer, that's exactly what I wanted to see . So alls well this morning in the Mummycav world of running...I hope you are all enjoying this gorgeous sunshine that we're having, well I hope it's as lovely where you are as it is in Yorkshire this morning...Have a lovely weekend whatever you're doing and wherever you're doing it...and post your adventures on here so I can read all about it!!!

Nice work... I have some intervals and a 10 mile run to do, one of which is today. So I’m busy procrastinating while pretending to be deciding which to do. Kinda has to be intervals as I don’t have the time for the long one.
Thanks Irishprincess ...I did wonder when I would start to feel it...but I think today's def the day...I feel much more positive. Happy weekend to you my friend x
Thamks AlMorr ...I really like parkrun...but...it is sooooo muddy in the park right now and today I ran part of the parkrun course but had to keep turning round and covering the same ground as it was ridiculous...think i'll be giving parkrun a miss in the morning, if I was doing it I think it would be parkrun number 15 for me...Have a good one
Hello, Mummycav . It's great to try all sorts of things with our running it keeps it all very interesting . Hope you enjoyed it.
I hadn't run for a few days after my hand operation so I went out this morning. The run was great it was like being let out to play after being grounded😂.
I was exhausted at the end something that doesn't usually happen after a run but I've got the weekend to rest again before Mondays run. Enjoy your weekend 😊
I did enjoy it thank you Buddy34 , I bet it was very liberating being out today after a few days off!!Rest up well and your next run will be even better!😊
You have def inspired me to volunteer..especially as my parkrun is more of a mud run! I think I’m a bit late for tomorrow but I will def look into it for the future x
Mine is a bit of a mud run in the winter too, Bev 😱. I am doing it mostly so I can get a good old chat with some fellow runners once a week - I think my boyfriend is sick of me banging on about it! 😂 xxx
He is still quite resistant to running, despite my good example! Mind you, perhaps he is put off by how many injuries I have gotten since starting running! LOL! It is really good fun, and I had some lovely chats with people this morning. xxx
