Graduated on holiday 10Th May 2019, a never to be forgotten date, and I’ve done two weeks of consolidation runs. Went out this morning with Laura and the stepping stones podcast. 1 2 3 4, off we went. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to complete the podcast and even felt that I had something left in the tank.. I never thought I would be able to run up the hill that is part of my run when I started out on C25K, so I was especially chuffed that I was able to keep to the beat during the podcast. I will never be a fast runner, but I’m hoping to build up to longer runs. I’d love to do 10 k one day, I’m going to give myself a goal of 1 year and see how I progress. Going away again in 2 weeks and will be taking my running gear with me ,shock horror!
Laura and the stepping stones: Graduated on... - Bridge to 10K

Well done. And well done too on having a realistic goal of 10K in 1 year. That’s the right way to do it. Concentrate on 5K 3 times per week for at least 3 months and do some Parkruns too. You’ll get to your 10K goal no problem.

Well done! You can bridge to 10k in a few weeks, you don’t need a year 👌🏽 But obviously do what you prefer! Isn’t running fab?!
Great running Myzinnyboy! Well done using the Stepping Stones podcasts, brilliant training platforms!
You will get to 10k one day, keep building your strength and you will know when you're ready to start increasing your running time/distance.😊x
Havd a great holiday!
You’ve done the hard part. Building up to 10K won’t take long.
Thanks for the posts, yes I shall plod on and maybe get that graduation 10 one day. I’m slow so for me it was good to know I could manage the beat and still have a bit left.
