Achilles....advice please!

Going on a walking holiday tomorrow, part of the Camino de Norte and my Achilles is playing up slightly....not too bad. Had some massage this week and session of shock wave therapy but wondered of anyone had any advice of what I can do today and tomorrow before I go and also during the walk. Sat with ice bath and warm bath alternating now....is this a good idea or just ice? Got some Kinesiology tape to take with me....

Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks 🏃‍♀️🙂😎

Don't honestly think there's much you can do before tomorrow apart from maybe gently stretching and self-massage. Search for some stretches on YouTube but the stair rise/drop stretch is good.

You can also do this at intervals during the walk but you just need to keep an eye on it and try to judge when/if to stop.

Enjoy your holiday whatever 🙂
