Wild Wine Run, Leicestershire, 15th September - entries now open 🍷🍷

A few of the VRBs are planning to enter the Wild Wine Run 10k - I think we are definitely Oldfloss Katnap TailChaser Windoze and me so far, so if anybody is in the East Midlands or able to travel it’s on Sunday 15th September at 11.00, all taking place in the vineyard and wine tasting included. Entry £23 until the end of July. There is also the option of 5k. Details at wildwinerun.com Hope some of you can make it - it looks like fun 🍷🏃🏻‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Looks like Lyme Park might be early October - are we masochists or what?! I was going to do my May 10k yesterday, but I’ve been struck down with the lurgy, so going to wait a day or two. I’ve identified a route, that is actually a circular walk of 10k which can start from our house - 186m of elevation 😳😬 Good practice for LP 🏃‍♀️

I have this odd masochistic desire to try Lyme Park too. I’m off to Ashton Court tomorrow which is a few notches down the PR rankings, but not many. I’m not writing LP off, although it depends on many factors.

Sorry you’re not well. 👎 Rest up, and then go out and enjoy your 10k walk. It sounds gorgeous. We’ll require pics, that goes without saying! 😍😀👍

I’m at the extreme north west of east midlands so it’ll be a challenge to get there for 11. It’ll be great training for Medoc though... I hope I can make it work.

I hope you can make it too! Medoc does sound amazing doesn’t it? I’m sure I read somewhere that you can do a pork pie run around Melton Mowbray, but I haven’t been able to find it, so maybe it was just a fantasy 😂

There is a 5k option as well if you think 10k would be too much - and you still get the wine tasting! If you’re planning to continue running 3 times a week after graduation, 10k is just about doable using ju-ju’s 8 week Magic 10 plan. Just saying 😃
