First run after a heavy cold 👍

And it went well. I planned to run/walk, which I did, for 4km. Felt good and I was surprised that my running pace was faster than expected but I felt so much more comfortable than recent weeks.

I carried water for the first time, partly because of the weather and my recent cold but also because my 10k is coming up in a few weeks and I will need it then. It was pretty comfortable tbh.

I have got my head in gear re. my food intake so am now finally losing weight, and I can feel the difference. I’m a bit done in now, though!

I spy the canal! Glad you enjoyed it - amazing what a difference it makes when you shake off one of those colds! 😀

I do enjoy running by the canal. It was gorgeous today, apart from the greenfly!!
