Does anybody use or follow any off the Nike running app runs? Are they helpful? Thanks
Nike run app: Does anybody use or follow any... - Bridge to 10K
Nike run app
Yes and yes. I have set up a Half Marathon training plan over 20 weeks. It takes a bit of getting used to (I have completed week 13). What I like: it sets out the different run types you should complete - suggested distance, pace etc. It’s good to have ‘someone’ else make the decision. What I don’t like: in the first few weeks it seems to alter the plan quite a lot as it gathers more info about you. Also you can’t really add practical constraints like - I can only do 1 long run a week. I’m still following the plan but keeping some runs shorter that the suggested run.
As it’s a free app you can try it out and see if it works for you.
Ohh I didn't know it did all that too.
I've just used it to listen to some guided runs.. Which I like
Yes, I use the app too and I do like that it tells me what to do...
What I don’t like is that the app doesn’t always track distance accurately, and I can’t get the app to synch the my coach runs.. I always have to edit the run I have just done and save it manually.
As an app to guide your progress it has improved my running.
The glitches could be my tech phobia!
Yes they feel like a great transition from C25k. I do the guided runs but you can also create a plan, enjoy!
Can’t do a run without my Coach Bennett ! 😂Use the guided runs on majority of my runs...such a great app and you can personalise your own training package too.
Sorry but I think you’ll find that he’s my coach Bennett...
I love this app. I've just finished the 3 x30 minute runs with Lopez. Really enjoyed his story and it motivated me to keep running when I really felt like stopping.
