Didnβt get out for a run yesterday what with one thing and another, so this morning I went for a quick 4k to test drive the new Hokas. Wonderful - like running on cushions, no stones poking through the bottom, no knee niggle. I saw a buzzard drifting in the thermals, heard a woodpecker in the wood, frightened a rabbit sitting among the vines and a small deer ran across in front of me. Mind you I had to work for it. My normal elevation is about 12m on my 5k route at home, here 53m in 4k and nearly all in the second half. Happy running πββοΈ ππ»ββοΈπ«π·

Looks beautiful sandie - even with the hills!
so glad the new runners passed the test run may you have many happy runs in them
Sounds idyllic Sandie. I always find runs after a long journey a bit tough, so maybe good to take it easy. Just enough to keep calories used and wine consumed in balance....so runs will need to get longer as the holiday progresses!!
ππ Allez les escargots πππ (not that you are one!!)
Well done. And what a gorgeous place to run.
How lovely Sandie , new shoes and a holiday where you can keep running. It doesnβt get better than that. πββοΈππ·π«π·
That looks like a beautiful place to run ... and even better seeing the rabbit π° π and the birds!
Sounds lovely - and look at all those grapes waiting to turn into wine! π·π
Running location envy! What a fab place to run. Enjoy! Happy running indeed.
Looks so luscious! π
What a beautiful scene and it must be great to have all the wildlife around as you run, I spend most of my runs dodging cars.
Oooo now thatβs a beautiful place to run π. New runners sound like they are pretty perfect too πππΌββοΈπ
