Today was my second comeback run! And Iβm feeling like Iβm getting there! I had my kit out from last night, thinking a morning run would be good. Then it turned into thinking, I donβt often get a chance for a lazy day, so I get diverted and think Iβll just read a bit more of my book, so close to the end now. π― Good book now finished. Kit on! β
A bit of dilly dally, but then π― I think, Iβm going to be going to a ball on the day before my birthday and C25k graduation in July! (Another perfectly magical coincidence for the big 50, 2019 ππ½ππ½ππ½) Now, just think π€ if youβre back in the swing with running, how great youβll feel in that dress you bought for your birthday at Christmas (didnβt want to struggle to find something near the time π€) . I picture it in my head and off to the Park I go!!....... Bit of trickery does no harm! π
Guess what? Raindrops π§, just a few...keep driving! More rain π ...good job I decided to bring the waterproof jacket π€. By the time I get to the Park I might have thought π₯΄ another day, but....I got out and got moving! It was still lovely and warm and l distracted myself for a bit by admiring the colourful grass (weeds reallyπ³, but they did look lovely) I think itβs called a wild garden now anyway π. And I ran. It was meant to be a 26 mins run, but I thought I may as well run on back to the gate where my car is parked.
Well done Fab, lovely that you are back and thank you for your post, very timely, as Iβve been feeling blue, so putting my running gear on now and heading out. π
Ah I love that Lexi!! Thank you so much! π€Sharing the downs is not always easy, but the encouragement and support is phenomenal. I hope that run was just the therapy needed! Big hugs! π€β€οΈ
Hugs gratefully received β€οΈ The heart and mind werenβt in really in it, but I forced myself and Fab once out there, remembered why I love this running its so special, just like the support on here. On to the next run eh? π x
