I graduated C25K a couple of years ago, didn't run last year (biked instead) and a couple of weeks ago thought I would just try and start. To my surprise I could run a whole 25 minutes no problem and since then have run 5k twice (about 40 mins for me) and feel in better shape than ever! So I'm going to join the Magic 10 plan and start challenging myself a bit on distance (with the caveat that if I hate it I'm going to stop).
I've loved getting back into running again! But my photography is bad... this is the river I run along.

hi. welcome back to running! I like my bike too, although not been on it much yet this year.... hoping too tho.
That's great that u could pick up at 5k with no problems! well done.
Ju-Jus plan is great, I'm sure you'll like it, just enjoy it.. but yeah if you don't then go out when you like and run what you want. have fun and happy running
Yay! Welcome back Not that I've been about much either and had a injury but I've just started back again in the last couple of months too after a year off. Seemed to have maintained a certain level of fitness too, which is nice! Gorgeous river view - wish I had that... pavements and grey skies mainly for me Lovely to hear from you, keep up the good work! xx
Yey! You’re back - I’ve taken a break too but am getting back into it - went for a gentle 20 mins in the sunshine this evening - forgot how great it makes me feel.
Hi ejvcruns! Great to hear from you again. I still remember one of your posts inspiring me when I was completing C25K (I was probably called Fitter40s back then). Good luck with your 10k plan - this is now my favourite distance. 😊
