My first Parkrun!

Well I’ve finally done it, yesterday I ran my first ever Parkrun after starting C25K last October. It’s taken a while to get a Saturday off work when I didn’t have my children but it was worth the wait!

It was our local PR in Erddig, Wrexham and the weather was glorious. We arrived a little early as we weren’t sure where to go, this just meant we were able to have a nice wander round to warm up.

We had a really fun time but it was tough, especially the hill right at the end! Although I think it’s probably because I’m still struggling to get used to running in the heat since I started running in October when it was nice and cool.

It’s amazing how running has changed us in such a short time ...who’d have thought 6 months ago that on a rare Saturday off we’d get up at 7.30am and go running 🏃‍♀️ by choice 😂 not me for sure!!

It may be another 6 months before it happens again but I can’t wait! Happy running!

I'm the same NEVER thought I'd be up early to RUN on a SATURDAY!! did this weeks with a bit of a hangover!!
