No point to this post really but just wanted to share that I had a lovely 10k this morning. Not run that far for a few weeks but did 8 last week and felt that I could do the full distance today. Had planned to run my usual (urban) loop but, as the weather was so perfect and I had the time, I decided to run down the canal for a run with a view instead. It was warm so headed into the woods for some shady sections too to break it up. Deliberately tried to slow down so it would be easier and it was my slowest 10k yet - but my heart rate still went ridiculously high! Not sure if I should worry about this or not - it seems normal for me! π€·πΌββοΈ
Anyway, that aside it was a perfect run with swans and bluebells and smiley dog walkers under blue skies. Made me feel so grateful to have discovered running ππΌββοΈ

You are right about the lovely day Teacherm. To run along a tow path is one of my things to do. I suspect it might be Macclesfield because we have friends there. I canβt go anywhere without accessing it for running. The power of running!
Dexy one of my goals for this year is to run the Macc canal (in sections). Iβll run some of it with you if Iβm available when you do it πββοΈ
Sounds like a lovely run. I have no idea what my heart rate does, so canβt comment on that Iβm afraid. Hereβs to Easter running along the canal. The wether forecast is good. Enjoy!
