Future wolf runner

Just reading through your post and sounds like a lot of run. I haven’t ran the wolf run yet I have entered into the summer wolf run in Leicestershire. I have been trying to train for two weeks. I am not a runner never ran before but thought I had a reasonable fitness level. Turns out I don’t think I do. What advise would you have for training in preparation for the run? And how far do you reckon the run is in between each obstacle!?

Hi! You might find it more helpful to comment on the post you're referring to rather than writing a whole new post. The person you are talking to may well not have seen this post.

Looking at the Wolf Run website, I'd say you have your work cut out for you! If you've not run before you'd better get started 😊

On Health Unlocked we have the Couch to 5k forum, associated with the NHS C25K programme: healthunlocked.com/couchto5k

Here is the NHS C25K: nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/c... it takes 9 weeks, but if you are fit you could probably skip some of it.

On this forum (Bridge to 10k) here we run a regular 5k-10k group training plan called Ju-Ju's Magic Running Plan, which takes 8 weeks to complete.

Good luck!
