After getting to 7k last month I planned to get to 8k this month by increasing my long run each by 5 minutes but after getting Pb after Pb at Parkrun the last few weeks I was thinking that maybe, just maybe I could just do the extra kilometre.
So after setting up the live track on my Garmin so hubby could see what I was up to I set off along the sea front front. My favourite place. Got to 4K divested myself of my waterproof. I was way too hot and so didn’t care if it was still raining. Turned round and headed back watching the tide come in. Kept telling myself how well I was doing and counting down the kilometres. Got to 7k and decided I needed to speed up a bit so I could finish quicker but forgot my route back included an incline, not a hill. That was tough but I got there. 8k.
Now what’s my challenge for the month I wonder. Think I will get to 10k before June at this rate. Happy bunny. 🐇🏃🏻♀️😊

Well done KR, you realise there’s a 10k run soon with your name plastered all over it! Very well done on your 8k, and the fact you sped up coming in - and up - is fabulous! 👏👏👏👏
