Today’s ParkRun and my thoughts:

Start - let’s target sub 33, but that run on Thursday was painful so best not get hopes up

1k pace update - ooof not as fast as first 1k last week, but maybe I’ll have energy later on to speed up

2k pace update - not bad. I’ll speed up later. Not really feeling it.

3k pace update - nah, you’re not getting a PB here, just keep going. Maybe those 10ks at the start of the week are hindering me. Maybe my legs are too tired.

4K pace update - hmmm I might be on par with last week but I’ll have to accept I’m not getting a Pb.

5k pace update 31:45 (my local ParkRun is 5.2k) - bloody hell, ok well on target for a Pb. I’m going to leg it down the home strait! I’ll keep up with that guy, and this woman is not going beat me! Leg it!

Finish - PB: 30 seconds off last week. 32:32! 💪🏽
