There goes my calf muscle! Ouch and I can’t walk on it let alone run. I knew after my hill run on Monday that something was amiss so booked to see my sports therapist on Saturday- I didn’t even go for another run, I was doing some physio exercises with a blue band. ...that’s when it suddenly got worse! 🤨😕 will ice etc and get treatment at the weekend. Woe . Back to the IC from the heady heights of 6km run last week !

That is really bad luck. Take plenty of rest. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

I know !! Typical of my luck - hey ho, I’ve had a good few months injury free - so I know I will get back to it 🙃🐌 thank you

Thank you - hopefully won’t be too long . Shame as I was going to do a tourist Parkrun on Easter weekend with my sister in

Law .. that’s only a couple of weeks away ... not sure I’ll be able to now !

Disappointing - I guess you could always walk round, but it wouldn't be the same .

Ouch, you poor thing. I hope it's nothing too serious. Hills have a lot to answer for 🌻

Yep that hill got me. I’ve not learnt from previous with a hill ! 🙄 How’s your puppy settling in ?

He's getting there - a steep learning curve for all of us! He still doesn't like being left alone though, so I'm stuck on doing 30 minute runs, but I count my blessings I can do that much.

I hope your injury heals in super quick time 😊

Thanks Katnap! Good news is the physio said it’s not a strain, just too tight and glutes needed to engage more 😁 so I should be okay for Easter parkrun as long as I take it easy 🙌
