I won't lie yesterdays run felt really tough. I just couldn't get my breathing and rhythm right until about 6k in...not sure what that was all about, so it all felt like a struggle to keep going - but i did it! Also, like many of us here, i had totally forgot how much more challenging running in the warm sun is to cool winds and cloud! As lovely as it was i got home a proper deep shade of tomato red lol
I have now successfully ran 10k every week since February - feeling well chuffed with that!
I was supposed to get up this morning and go for a run, but after 10k and all the running around i did yesterday the legs were telling me no (at least not the gremlins) so I think they deserve a well earned break and i will go again tomorrow.
Hope you all enjoy the glorious weather today and happy running!

Whoa, a weekly 10k Alison! πͺπββοΈπ Thereβs me feeling impressed with my monthly one! ππ
I know what you mean about the warm weather. Takes me right back to C25K during the heatwave last summer! And I have 2 mid summer 10k races, one on June 30th and one on August 25th! What was I thinking?! π π₯΅
Still, weβre runners and we can deal with anything! π π ππββοΈπββοΈ
Well Done Alison, Iβm very impressed with your weekly 10ks. Yes I am looking forward to putting leggings away and long sleeve tops away once Iβve done my evening run. Iβm back in capris for day runs now and soon it will be shorts and vest I hope.
