I'm kind of following JuJu's magic plan (with a few minor adjustments) but the principle of pushing on distance each week with shorter runs in betweens feels like a nice natural pattern that works well for me. So firstly a big thanks to JuJu!
I cracked 8km today for the first time, with three achievements - my furthest run, fastest 1k (5.26) and fastest 5k (27.50) all wrapped up in it. Legs a bit wobbly right now, but with a shorter run Thursday and Park Run Saturday, I'm still going strong.

Thank you. Currently nudging up approx 0.5 a week. 10k is the aim (I have never run before this January!) and have an event booked for July, so once I get to 10k, happy to stay there and drift around that distance.
I agree! My normal run is flat as a pancake, so pace is steady. Once I do a Park Run, I slow right down due to terrain/hills etc! Only nudging up slowly each week, trying to maintain similar pace not aiming to speed up!
