Hi Runners
I got up this morning and decided, on impulse, to go to Parkrun! 5k will shift some cobwebs and running amongst others would keep me going, given my off/on running schedule!

Runners ❌......⁉️= No Parkrun! (Explains that previous ✅😂)
So, it’s a run my way! Another impromptu adventure! 😆 The current title of this post is far too mystical! I should have given this post the title, “Fabulous Tales of the Unprepared”! 😂😉! However, lots of things in life don’t go to plan.
It was quite hard to get into the zone, after trying to avoid a big puddle on the trail, but finding my shoes filled up by water from the pool disguised in the grass 🥴. I was lapped by a couple of runners too. Actually it felt like I was lapped by every runner out there this morning. 🤔 Maybe, I wasn’t the only one who thought Parkrun was on today. Still, I did get into the zone in the end! It was a slow run and despite the heavy winds blowing sideways, I got the headspace I wanted.
The feeling of satisfaction is now kicking in. I’m not comparing this run with any other, because every run is so different. This is certainly my first muddy run! I’m not sure I’ll be able to save the socks! 😂 But run I did! Time for a hot shower! 🚿 That will do until another day! 😁!
