Hi guys, just graduated from C25K along with my wife and we feel that 10K is the next step of our journey towards a fit and healthy life style.Dodgy knees are now being adressed with strengthening exercices specific to this problem as well as for the heel pain from which I am now experiencing some much needed relief ,,both problems I now know are symptoms of weakness else where.Taking my wife,s lead I am now on a lot healthier eating plan and with a10k charity run in May we are so pleased to have the help and support of the, 'Bridge' forum in our quest for successfully completing 10K and continuing a life style which includes regular runs up to this distance. Who knew ?!?!
Next we plan two weeks of consolidation runs followed by an increment of 10% of the weeks total distance ,for one run each week. What an adventure !!

Congratulations to you and your wife on graduating and completing week 9 run 3 of C25K, yes by all means continue onto B210, but first run 6/30 minutes consolidation runs 🏃.
To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username leave a message on the March graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K 🎓 🏃 😊
The good news is that 5k to 10k is much easier than 0 to 5. Those of us who followed Ju-ju’s plan did 2x8k and 2x9k on the way up to 10k. Worked for me 😊. All that good weather to come as well🏃🏻♂️🏃♀️
Thank you guys for your kind comments , we both relish the challenge of 10k and the next leg of our journey shared with B210k and our fellow runners !!
Congratulations to you both on your graduation and all the best for your future running journey! Sounds like you already have a good plan for getting to 10k 😀
