I have been doing 5k for a while now. I have started doing park runs. On Saturday I go a new PB which I was surprised and thrilled about. I had been ill and not run for a couple of weeks, then got my new PB. So this morning I thought I would attempt a bridge to 10k. I used the B210K Trainer app. It was a failure. I couldn't even manage a 5k, not had that happen for months now. Not sure why this happened, my legs felt like lead and they just did not want to keep going. I am not very impressed with the app, not as helpful as Couch 2 5k. Does anyone have any apps that they used for the 'bridge'. It doesn't really 'talk' and encourage you. Just says 'walk now, run now'.

First attempt
I think there are other apps out there Fifitrixiebell, but I didn’t use one. Most people on here have found success using juju’s magic plan which you can find in pinned posts. It’s very flexible as you choose which order you do the runs to fit in with your life . Post the runs on here and the support will come from your VRBs, just like c25k.
Well done on your pb FFTB!
There are so many factors that can affect our runs.
You have only just got back to being well.
You did a pb two days earlier.
Had you hydrated well over previous few days?
Was it a more challenging route?
Are you taking enough rest days? Etc etc etc.
It might be worth checking out your pace for the last run if you are using a tracker. It could be that you set off too fast which affected the rest of the run. It is so easy to do this. Maybe try negative splits, so your first k is slowest, then increase pace for each further k as feels right.. , thus your last k is your fastest overall.
Every run counts remember, you got out there and did it, grand job!
Do the c25kplus podcasts first... stamina and stepping stones with Laura
I guess someone should make the stepping stones podcast on a loop so you can gradually increase the time ?
I used JuJu's Bridge to 10k plan, I took a screen shot and then just ticked off the completed runs. I found it kept me focused. Well done on your PB🤩
