Parkrun plus bringing home the bacon 🐷

Today my youngest kitten did his 10th parkrun! 👏👏👏🏃🏆

I got a new parkrun PB. I'm now under 28 minutes. 💪

I then ran to the local garden centre where there is a butchers where I got the bacon. And ran back to bring home the bacon! 😁

Looking forward to passing out in front of the telly tonight... 💤

I run more slowly for longer distances. Speed (weirdly) seems to improve when 5k becomes a short run!

Struggling to get out more than once a week at the moment. Really desperate to get back to 3 times a week but lots going on. Missing it so much 🙁

It was tough and a bit of an adventure as there are no paths near the end of the route but the roadside verge was wide enough. Practice for some cross country! 😸

Apart from the start of the month I've been able to run regularly since starting C25K last September. Remaining injury and illness free makes a big difference

When I completed my first 10km I made a batch of scones and had one with strawberry jam and cream. My sub 30 minute 5km reward was smiles and grins! Currently with a dodgy hamstring, PBs seem like a thing of the past. 😔

Congrats on your new Parkrun PB, I’ve 32 seconds to shave off for a sub 28 minute 5K Parkrun PB. But I’ll get there. My 9 year old Son did his 8th Parkrun yesterday, just 2 more to go for his 10. Looking forward to ordering him his Parkrun 10 T-Shirt and during the summer I’ll get my 50 shirt.

And very well done for literally bringing home the bacon.

Great job on the PB (speedy!), to kitten on making 10 parkruns (Whoohoo!) and bringing home the bacon (literally 😂😋🥓). Now I want 🥓 but after a week away eating out most mornings, i’ve Consumed enough bacon for the year! Time to break my bacon habit 😢
