Just hope that you can get back to running soon Becky, but you must wait until that nasty chest infection has completely gone a and you get the all clear from your doctor.

Same happened to me in October/ November. So frustrating. Just ease yourself back in when you are ready. Bugs...who needs them?🐛

Sorry you are not feeling well, take care of yourself and make sure you are recovered before running again.

Oh dear! It is so odd this feeling that something is missing when we can't run. I am so sorry that you are not well and really hope that you are completely well again soon. Here are some flowers for you 🌸🌺🌼 in the mean time.

Awww Becky, take care of yourself and don’t rush back to running. Make sure you’re 100%, otherwise you might still feel miserable even though you think you’re better. 🐌 A get-well snail for you.

Do look after yourself, there are some horrid bugs around. I had a chest infection for 3 weeks in January which really wiped me out, and exacerbated my asthma. I was really fed up too, as I'd just got myself motivated to run more regularly and rebound my mojo.

I found this link that Irishprincess posted really useful in making sure I reintroduced myself gradually back to running, and have been fairly kind to myself with gentle recovery runs to get back to running 10K.

Get well soon....ginger ginger garlic lemon hot pot soup herbs (China town London (chinatown.co.uk/en/shop/loo... supermarkets) with chicken (or veg protein) and should help.

Great you’re taking a break while recovering.

Oh - eucalyptus oil in boiling water and inhale the steam.

:)

Get a couple of pints of Guinness down yer, a doctor told me that once and I refuse to listen to all medical advice to the contrary to this day!

The main thing is to get fully over it... you know you’ll be back and it will feel amazing.
