Don't try to catch a couch potato 😁 (she really needs to change her name!)

So, while I was in the shower, my running buddy couchpotato2 messaged to say she was off for a run. So I decided to try and join her, got dressed in record time and my warm-up was a fast walk to the bridle path. Along the path (lovely) down the hill (even lovelier 😁) and onto the canal path. I found CP doing her cool down stretches when I was on 28 minutes, so I puffed past her for two more minutes to round it up to 30, since everything felt fine. The hike back up the hill to home was, erm, a very good cool down πŸ˜‚

So glad I've been sensible, I'm feeling the benefit now. Thanks all for the virtual hand holds 😊

Well you know why you never caught up with me? It’s because it was β€œmainly downhill β€œ according to my mum (was it heck!) and I just let myself roll down.

Yes we are lucky, the hard part is finding anything flattish that doesn't involve the canal path (gets very muddy) or pavements. Hence the hills 😁
