Back to it, and with new shoes

After nearly a full week’s rest I was itching to run this morning, especially as I was now allowed to wear my new running shoes 😍 Took it steady and ran a slow 5k with a few walked stretches to iron out my niggles. Shoes are fab and it was a beautiful morning running a new route. I need to start increasing my mileage soon, but today I was just happy not to be sore! Happy birthday to me, have a good weekend everyone 👍
