After completing C25K again last week, I did my first consolidation run on Saturday, 5K with my son and as I have been WFH today and I had a free hour in my schedule this afternoon, I decided to nip out and take a new route. At one point I was running up a hill with the afternoon sun in my eyes, couldn't see, my foot went into a pot hole and over I went, arrrgghhh! Straight into the mud. After a massive bout of swearing I got up and continued on my way, luckily only the birds saw the injury to my pride! Ended up being a fantastic run, 6.6K, and I am buzzing now, however I have been left with a lump on my ankle and it feels a bit achy, but I am sure a couple of ibuprofen and some rest will sort it!
Cheers all

Glad you enjoyed the run, but ooooh it's not great to take a tumble...especially with mud involved! I had to abandon mine the last time I fell over as the ground had ruined my face...just rude! Take care of that ankle. I hope you applied the frozen veg to it and are keeping it up. If it feels like an unhappy ankle it may be best to get it checked out. The view from the IC can be lovely, but if it can be avoided, that's even better. Take care.
Blimey that sounds worse than mine! Ankle doesn't feel too bad, just a bit achy and a swelling, I can walk on it fine. Hope it doesn't seize overnight.
Sorry about your tumble Visionon . That low sun was bright today. It’s always a shock when that happens too. Treat it well, and hopefully it’s not too painful.
Sorry to hear that Visionon - sounds as though it could have been much worse! Tempted to make a comment about your username but will restrain myself! 😀
Congratulations on completing c25k for the second time and hope your ankle recovers swiftly.
