Well, went out for my first run in over a month due to illness. Managed 5k with ease, really chuffed thought I’d lost it but it’s stoll there. Taking it easy though, only 5k every other day for this week.

Glad you're feeling better, and an easy 5k too.

It's good to know that with even a month out you can just hop back into a 5 k run🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Yes I was so pleased with myself, even in the wind and the rain I managed it.

That first run back is always tricky, but you did it. Good to see you where you belong 🙂

Glad to see you back again Agelesslass, a good idea to take it slowly to begin with. 🏃‍♀️🐢🐢👏👏

Yes I agree Dexy5, thank goodness it’s not good weather, otherwise I’d be itching to get out there and run.

That’s great Ageless. Slotting straight back into a 5k and doing it with ease is testament to how much fitness you had accumulated before your illness. All good. 👍

So glad you’re back. 😀🏃‍♀️😀

Yes, I suppose you are right cheekychipmunks, hadn’t thought about my fitness levels before I became ill.

Well done matey. I always think of you when i’m Running. I think about the posse of lets say more mature runners on here and wish them luck and cool runnings 💪👍😃

It’s such tunes as Forever Young and Young Hearts Run Free that remind me 🙂 and bind us together in a virtual run club
