Gentle post-illness jog with no music

Had an awful bug for 2-3 days: lots of stomach pain and cramps, feeling droopy and not really eating. Woke up this morning feeling fab so had a gentle 20min jog on one of my favourite routes through woods and along the canal: I usually do two laps but just did one today. However, I couldn’t get an internet connection so couldn’t play music: I have never run without music so didn’t know how I would fare. Felt great and ran at a faster pace than usual! Possibly knowing so was only doing one lap? Maybe, but it felt good! The canal was frozen but no ice or even frost underfoot. Also including a photo of the steps that make up part of my cool down: one day I’ll run up them!

looks like a lovely run. Hope you're feeling 100% again soon. It's good to mix things up once in a while , even if you didn't intend to!
