If you’re in Matlock there is a fab shop for gait analysis. A very thorough one indeed. You have to book as it’s about an hour The guy is a club runner with Matlock AC, and a very good runner and he understands feet 😃. It’s called Run Forest and it’s upstairs next to a bookies We parked on the roof at M & S, walked down the stairs onto the street and there it was It’s in the town centre, can’t recall the name of the street 🙈

They sponsor local events, so if they’re doing one near you then pop along. They sell sale shoes at these events. I bought half price Peregrine’s and my husband got a third off some Ghosts 😃

I won one of their prize vouchers last year and got a pair of lovely Hilly marathon socks

They have a running group from their shop too. If you arrive there by public transport they deduct the fare off the bill 🙂. They’re on Facebook too

Definitely RunForest in Matlockk as Wobble suggests for you, the best gait analysis I have ever had. Also, if Mike doesn't have the right shoe for you, he will tell you. None of this selling you a shoe anyway. And great coffee and cake!

Speaking of which, the annual scouts-organised 10k race in Holymoorside has the best cake stall 😳😃😋. It literally sags under the weight of lemon drizzle 👍🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

It’s always been a gorgeous day too when I’ve run it 😎🌝

It’s a great one to be a spectator at too. My husband and son don’t need to much persuading to pitch up at this one. It’s set out at the village hall and green. The finish is next to the pub and village green. Perfect 👌
