So when I dreamed of running every day of the 16 day Christmas Holiday (I know I'm a teacher - it really is the ONLY perk!) I think I was envisaging lovely bright frosty mornings, breath clouding the air, earth as hard as iron and all that.
And yesterday there was sun and the excitement of a challenge started as I ran a lovely 5k.
But cut to today and it's wet and gloomy...Still not to be detered out I went and it felt pretty good despite the rain. A mini jog at a nice pace π.

I try for three times a week in term time but in the crazy run up to Christmas have only managed 3 runs in the last fortnight. Got myself through last week dreaming of all the running me-time ahead!
I have the same plan to streak whilst I'm off work. I am sitting on the couch looking at the rain and feeling less than enthusiastic. I will now go get dressed and head out. Thanks for the shove!
Bravo, Deb! Come rain or shine, eh? I was out too but it only drizzled a bit at the start. Very gloomy, but still good to get out there in the fresh air. I started my run with a nagging headache, but it had cleared by 4k so I was very happy.
Happy run streak to you! Do keep reporting, I am intrigued by run streaks. π
Yay! Good on you for taking advantage of the holidays to the max. I am off for the same amount but I definitely won't be able to do everyday, maybe every other if I am lucky. Keep on going Deb, come rain or shine!
